Robby Rodrigue

Director of Ministry

Robby Rodrigue is a native of Pierre Part, Louisiana, a father of two and grandfather of one. After the loss of his father at age 10, he started using drugs to escape reality. Fueled by the motivation to support his addiction and excessive partying he went to work in the oil field at the age of 18 and excelled to the position of Construction Manager. As a self-proclaimed, “high functioning addict” he believed this pathway was his destiny, until on April 17th, 2014 at the age of 41 Robby’s life was turned upside down by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Today Robby is called to reach out to those lost and enslaved by the bondage of addiction and has a passion to bring them to the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. He is a 2019 graduate of Heartland Christian College with a degree in Biblical Studies. As Director of Ministries for El Roi Robby’s primary role is to visit churches, rehab centers, and transitional housing. Introducing them to the mission of El Roi, enlisting church members as part of our volunteer network. He also conducts interviews for our YouTube channel and website in order to make our resources available to the public.
